SCS demand is a stunt to cover up Naidu's failures, says Chandra Mouli
Visakhapatnam: Andhra Odisha Border (AOB) special zonal committee secretary Chandra Mouli alleged that AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was demanding special category status (SCS) to hide his failures in resolving many issues of the state in the last four years. He also pointed out that Naidu’s World Bank development agenda has resulted in the budget crunch and unemployment.
In a press release carrying the name of Chandra Mouli, the CPI Maoists AOBSZC committee said backward regions of north Andhra and Rayalaseema are lagging behind more than earlier due to BJP and TDP rule in Centre and state respectively. The Maoist leader criticised that migrations, suicides and hunger death have become common in the state due to anti-people policies and rule.
The SZC secretary Chandra Mouli accused CM Naidu is covering up his failure slinging mud at BJP for not giving Special Status to the state. The Maoist leader said that SCS may address some issues and the demand is far. But, the benefits of the SCS should reach the eligible people and to enhance the employment but it should not become hand tool for the corporate and industrial bigwigs. He urged the students, intellectuals, people’s organisations, workers and others should come under one umbrella to fight unitedly and get the SCS.
