Javadekar wishes best to Pakistan on its national day
New Delhi: Union Minister of State for Environment Prakash Javadekar visited the Pakistan High Commission as the Indian Government representative for the Pakistan National Day celebrations on Wednesday evening where the hardline and moderate Hurriyat factions pitched for adopting a “political approach” to resolve the Kashmir imbroglio and denounced the “brutal attitude” of the Modi dispensation.
Javadekar was at the event for around 20 minutes, and extended his “best wishes” to the Pakistani people on the sidelines.
Meanwhile, India is issuing visas to the five-member Pakistani Joint Investigation Team (JIT) that will reach India on March 27 as part of the Pathankot terror probe, even as Sources said that the itinerary of the Pakistani JIT is being worked out.
