Hyderabad High Court grants bail to former Congress MLC Prem Sagar Rao

Hyderabad: Hyderabad High Court on Friday granted conditional anticipatory bail to Prem Sagar Rao, former MLC and senior Congress leader from Adilabad district. Justice T. Rajani while allowing the petitions of Prem Sagar, directed him to present himself daily before the police and also to assist the police in investigation.

The police booked cases against him in different police stations of Adilabad district on the allegation of instigating Adivasis against Lambadas. He contended that the cases were registered owing to political rivalry. The judge considered the fact that the police had reported in trial courts that the investigation was complete and all other accused in the cases were out on regular bail.
