THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: International Ayush Conclave will be held from February 15 to 18 here. The meet is aimed at showcasing various specialties of Ayurveda, yoga, naturopathy, unani, siddha and homeopathy. International Seminar, National Heath Expo, Business Meet, LSG Leaders Meet, ayush startup meet will be organised as part of the conclave.
At a press conference here health minister K.K. Shailaja said delegates from 50 countries will take part in the meet. Delegates from 35 countires have already registered and confirmed their participation in the conclave.
More than 3000 delegates are expected to take part in the meet. Over 200 stalls will put up at the venue to showcase various products. The seminars and workshops to be held on the sidelines of the conclave will be attended by 200 plus experts from across the world.
The international seminar will discuss intervention of Ayush treatment modes in public helath care. A national health expo will showcase various facets of Ayush helath care. As part of the business meet to be held at the conclave, herbal bazaar and Ayush health Travel Bazar will be organised. There are several other events lined up including LSG Leaders Meet, Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Homeo medicine policy workshop, health and food habits, agri meet, Ayush solidarity meet and ayush start up conclave.
Various sessions at the conclave will also focus on mental health, child health, sports medicine, cancer treatment, diagnosis and infertility treatment.
Governor P Sathasivam will open the meet on February 15 and chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the valedictory function on February 18.
