Hyderabad: Road accident victims get police jobs

The government assured to pay them compensation of 2 lakh each.

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat gave jobs in police department to the three victims of the Valigonda tractor accident.

In June, 15 people including a four-year-old died when the tractor they were travelling in overturned at Valigonda mandal in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Sunday morning. Another 16 had sustained injuries in the accident. Mr Bhagwat, said, “The tractor was carrying about 25 women from Vemulakonda village to Lakshmipuram for sowing cotton.”

The driver Venkatnarayana was negotiating the narrow culvert when he lost control over the vehicle and it overturned and fell into the water. The women were seated in the trolley. Some women died of drowning while others died after the tractor trolley fell on them.

The government assured to pay them compensation of 2 lakh each.

As a part of four victims were identified and one victim was given out source job long ago and on Friday Rachakonda police commissioner outsourcing jobs in Police department.
