Bengaluru: Biker hits stray bull, dies on the spot
Bengaluru: Two men died on the spot in two separate accidents reported in the city on Saturday morning. A 27-year-old motorist died on the spot after he rammed his bike to a stray bull crossing the road on the busy Subramanyapura Post Office road on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Ravi Kumar, a resident of Uttarahalli and a paratha maker. On Saturday morning, Ravi as usual, took parathas and left home to supply it to hotels and shops. Around 6 am his bike hit a stray bull and Ravi lost control over the vehicle. He fell and sustained severe head injuries. Passersby rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
The Kumaraswamy Layout traffic police have taken up a case and are investigating.
Car hits wall, driver dead
In another incident, a 35-year-old private firm employee died on the spot after he rammed his car on to a compound wall. The incident happened at Chikkajala early Saturday. The deceased, Mukesh Kumar Jha, a resident of Vasanth Vihar in Vidya Nagar was returning home after work. According to police, while taking a turn Kumar lost control over his car, hit the compound wall and sustained severe injuries.
