Hyderabad: The TS government has identified 1,545 pollution-causing industries located inside ORR limits.
Industries minister K.T. Rama Rao told the Assembly on Thursday that these industries will soon be shifted beyond the ORR to make the city pollution-free.
He said 1,068 industries will be shifted beyond ORR limits within a year. The government will offer land and other incentives to encourage these industries to relocate.
Mr Rao said the government has devised plans to develop 13 transit oriented corridors along ORR as part of setting up satellite townships to decongest the city.
