Visakhapatnam: Devotees of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy reportedly noticed a cockroach in the pongali prasadam given to them on Wednesday and lodged a complaint about it.
This is not the first time that a complaint has been made about prasadam. An insect was found in the pulihora prasadam 10 days back, according to locals. Simhachalam Devasthanam officials have not yet responded to the latest charge. However, a source said that the preparation of laddus and pulihora is done on a contract basis. Pongali is made by the persons working for the temple to offer it during Bala Bhogam.
