N Chandrababu Naidu: State committed to complete Polavaram dam project
VIJAYAWADA: The Chief Minister Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu has sent a clear message to the Union Government, on Wednesday. It stated that the State Government is committed to the completion of the Polavaram project, despite the fact that there were several hurdles on the way.
It is evident that the CM has given up his ‘wait and see’ approach and sent a straight message to the Centre that the people are waiting for their ‘lifeline’ project to be completed within the next couple of years. Concluding a short discussion on Polavaram, Mr. Naidu has stated that he has communicated to the R&R team that had come from New Delhi, to know about the status of Polavaram and other irrigation projects, that the mood of the House is almost identical to his dream on Polavaram.
For the first time, after three and half years, the Chief Minister, has broken his silence on Polavaram, and presented everything in black and white before the House. He has explained the chronology of events, as to when this idea was mooted and what were all the subsequent incidents that had taken place over the years.
