Patna: Teachers in Bihar are on the verge of launching a massive protest against the state after they were asked to take pictures of people who are found defecating in the open.
Bihar Madhyamik Sikshak Sangh has written a letter to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar urging him to withdraw the order.
“We support open defecation free campaign asking teachers to visit villages to take pictures of people defecating openly is insulting,” BMSS general secretary and former MP Shatrughan Prasad Singh said.
