Hyderabad: The body of five-year-old Yedapalli Yashiwini from Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh, who died on Thursday last while travelling on a flight from Hyderabad to Kuwait, was brought to her parents’ home town of Rajampet on Monday.
The child had been feeling unwell for several days before she travelled. The Jazeera Airways flight had made an emergency landing in Oman after the child complained of discomfort. The medical team that attended to her at Oman airport made all efforts to save her and then rushed her to the Royal Hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
All procedures to bring the body back from Oman were completed with the help of Nalli Haribabu, a social worker in Muscat.
Mr Haribabu told this newspaper, “The girl was not keeping well for over two weeks and they were coming to Hyderabad for treatment on Thursday evening.”
