Karnataka industries minister RV Deshpande woos Hyderabad investors
Hyderabad: Industries Minister R.V. Deshpande has promised all support to investors from Hyderabad for implementation of their projects in Karnataka and invited them to participate in the coming “Make in India event” in his home state.
Speaking after inaugurating “Make in India – Karnataka” roadshow here, Mr Desphande referred to major events such as Women Enterprises Think - big summit, PravasiBharatiya Divas, and Make in India Conference to be held in Karnataka and urged the investors to participate in them.
Mr Deshpande said that the potential areas for invesment in Karnataka are automobile, aerospace, tourism, infrastructure and Information Technology and Biotechnology. Commissioner for Industrial Development Gaurav Gupta made a presentation on investment opportunities in various sectors in Karnataka.
Minister for Information Technology/Biotechnology, Science and Technology and Tourism Priyank Kharge was present. Around 200 representatives from various industries and prospective investors from Hyderabad participated in the roadshow.
