Hyderabad: Mindspace flyover can be used from October
Hyderabad: After the six-lane underpass at Mindspace junction, Madhapur road users can look forward for more driving comfort. Officials said that the work on the flyover in the tech zone was expected to be completed in September.
The GHMC expects to get the flyover inaugurated in the first week of October.
The four-lane flyover is located on the road between Inorbit Mall and Radisson is 830 metres long.
The project to ease stress on road traffic was taken up at a cost of Rs 48 crore and work was originally expected to be complete in August.
This apart, service roads along with drain and utility ducts are being constructed at the junction at an estimated cost of Rs 29 crore.
The road level system will have three lanes along with a 56-metre rotary.
The six-lane underpass constructed at a cost of Rs 26 crore at the Mindspace junction was thrown open to traffic by minister K.T Rama Rao in April.
The GHMC is taking up these works at a total expenditure of nearly Rs 109 crore as part of the Strategic Road Development Plan package IV.
