TIRUPUR: In a tragic road mishap, at least six persons from Namakkal and Erode districts were killed on the spot when the car in which they were travelling plunged down a flyover near Avinashi in Tirupur district on Friday.
According to police, the deceased persons, all of whom happened to be AIADMK functionaries from Namakkal and Erode, were on their way to Coimbatore by car on Friday.
