Hyderabad: All educational institutions in the GHMC area will be closed on Friday and Saturday due to heavy rainfall warning for two more days issued by the India Meteorological Department.
These include government and private schools, intermediate, degree, post-graduate and engineering colleges and universities.
The decision was taken by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao from New Delhi after reviewing the situation with the collectors of Hyderabad, Medak and Ranga Reddy districts.
