KARUR: A preparatory meeting for implementation of the integrated Financial Management and Human Resource Management (IFHRMS) in Karur district was conducted here on Wednesday, under the Chairmanship of Tenkasi S Jawahar principal secretary, commissioner of Treasuries and Accounts in the presence of T. Anbazhagan, district colloctorate.
Mr. Jawahr said the Government of Tamil Nadu was making all efforts for implementation of IFHRMS project in the state. For the first time in India, the scheme is being implemented by the Government and this system is for the effective management of State resources. The Government can get the State's Income and Expenditure on a real-time basis through this scheme. Hence, it helps the efficient management of the State's finances, he added.
The services of Government servants can be utilized efficiently for rendering the service to the public.
Through this scheme, more than nine lakh State Government employees and more than eight lakh pensioners will also get benefitted from this integration.
