Bright student's life cut short
Hyderabad: Pallavi was an excellent student and would mostly keep to herself, said Shailaja, a teacher at Vidya Vihar School, where she was a student of class VIII, adding that she was very keen on science.
In the building too, she used to come out to ride her bicycle in the evenings and play with her neighbours, said the other kids of the area.
“She was a very bright student and had high hopes of doing well academically. It was strange but true that she was interested in science and had time and again shown keen inclination towards the subject,” the teacher told this newspaper, adding that she was very well behaved and always used to be punctual with her work too.
Rani, a neighbour and also a resident of the railway quarters, said that Pallavi was cheerful and used to greet the locals wholeheartedly with a wide smile.
“We cannot believe that she is no more. She was a very sweet girl and was very well mannered. We all saw her trying to save Shreya and trip over the wall. Such was her kind heart that she would not think twice before helping others out. May their souls rest in peace,” said the woman.
