Hyderabad: Bankers’ one day national strike observed on Tuesday had affected normal banking services in all public sector banks, old generation private banks and regional banks in city.
Shutters were down in most of the bank branches as branch managers also took part in the strike. Cash transactions, including government transactions, were not carried out.
Besides common customers, foreign exchange transactions, import and export bill transactions, sanction of loans, etc. were also affected, apart from outward clearing activities.
