launch an outcome of Isro team 1.5 year non-stop work

For the past one-and-a-half years, the team burned midnight oil to realise the Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft.

Sriharikota: The Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft is the outcome of 18 months of non-stop work by Isro’s satellite team. They reworked the spacecraft as per the suggestions of the national committee.

“For the past one-and-a-half years, the team burned midnight oil to realise the Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft. As the spacecraft has been successfully injected into the designated orbit, the mantle has been given to the team,” Isro chairman Dr Sivan said. The team will put the spacecraft through 15 manoeuvres over the next one-and-a-half months.
