Akun Sabarwal to get more security if needed
Hyderabad: Minister for excise and prohibition T. Padma Rao Goud has stated that security for Akun Sabarwal, the Excise Enforcement director would be increased if needed in view of threat phone calls to the latter. He said that probe into drug allegations was free and fair and film industry was not being targetted.
Talking to reporters in Secretariat on Saturday, he said that Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao wants Hyderabad to be a drug-free city and accordingly strict measures are being taken up by the department.
He stated that notices have been issued to 12 members from film industry and further action will be taken based on information given by them.
He appealed to parents to take necessary precautions so that their children do not fall prey to such activities that will ruin their life.
