Hyderabad: A 29-year-old cleaner of a bus was killed and several others sustained injuries after a bus from Kaveri Travels, Pune rammed into a roadside petrol bunk near Sadhasivapet town on NH-65 in the early hours of Friday in Sangareddy.
The deceased was identified as Anand, a native of Kosgi in Bidar who was also the cleaner of the bus.
According to the police, the vehicle veered off the road as the driver lost control over the wheel and hit a pillar in the petrol pump at the Shirdi-Hyderabad road.
“The second driver, identified as Rajkumar, and five others sustained injuries and were shifted to the nearby government hospital for treatment,” said Surendar Reddy, the police inspector. A case was registered under relevant Sections of IPC.
