Peddapalli: Four members of a family died when a car in which they were travelling hit a lorry standing on the Rajiv Rahadari at Katnapalli village in Sulthanabad mandal of the district just past midnight on Friday.
The victims were identified as Arun Kumar, 37, his wife Soumya, 30, and children Akhilesh Kumar, 10, and Shanvi, 8, of Manthani town. Arun was working as the principal of Krishnaveni Talent School in Manthani.
The family was returning to Manthani from Hyderabad after admitting Arun’s brother-in-law in a junior college there. Arun was driving the car and wanted to reach early so that he could attend college on Friday morning.
