Hyderabad High Court extends stay on recruitments for G-II posts
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Thursday extended the stay granted on June 12 on the process of recruitment for Group II posts by the TS Public Service Commission for three weeks.
When Justice M.S. Ramachandra Rao was dealing with two separate petitions by Purighalla Sri Charandas Goswami and 20 others and another petition by V. Ramachandra Reddy and 14 others, all aspirants for the Group II posts challenging the merit list prepared by the TSPSC, counsel for the commission sought time to file the counter affidavit.
M. Surender Rao and B. Rachana Reddy, counsels for the petitioners, told the court that as per the guidelines released by the TSPSC to be followed while answering the questions in Optical Mark Recognition sheets, the candidates shall not use whiteners and erasers, but the answer sheets of the candidates who did use not heed these guidelines were also considered by the commission while preparing the merit list.
While granting time to the commission, the judge extended the stay for three more weeks.
