Sought report from Centre on Ennore port: Tamil Nadu CM
Mr Sudarasanam wanted Mr Palaniswami to respond to media reports on the Centre planning to divest its entire 100 per cent holding in the Ennore port.
Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Thursday said the state government has sought a detailed report from the Centre on its proposed move to divest its 100 per cent holding in the Kamarajar Port in Ennore near here.
Replying to a question by DMK MLA from Perambur, Sudarsanam, Mr Palaniswami said the state government has not received any communication from the Union Government in this regard.
"Steps are being taken to seek a detailed report from the Union Shipping Ministry on the issue," he told the Assembly. Mr Sudarasanam wanted Mr Palaniswami to respond to media reports on the Centre planning to divest its entire 100 per cent holding in the Ennore port.
