Kerala CM briefs Guv on foreign visit

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan called on Governor P. Sathasivam at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday and briefed him about his recent foreign visit to seek support for the Rebuild Kerala initiative.

The Chief Minister shared his experiences at the United Nations World Reconstruction Conference in Geneva and conveyed his optimism regarding Kerala receiving Swiss investments in the near future. He informed about the Netherland's offer to share technical expertise in Kerala's rebuilding efforts. The listing of the Masala Bond of Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) in the London Stock Exchange and drafting of a detailed proposal to receive aid from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for rebuilding Kerala also figured in the discussion.
