Vijayawada: In an interesting development five YSRC MPs who tendered their resignations protesting the denial of Special Category Status to AP were asked to meet the Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on May 29. A note from the LS secretariat asking them to meet her has come as a surprise to the YSRC MPs who were hopeful that it will take some time for the speaker to accept the resignations.
