Kerala: Engineering, pharma entrance results out

The commissioner for entrance examinations (CEE) on Tuesday published the results on www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

Thiruvananthapuram: Of the 90,233 students who wrote the engineering entrance examinations, only 58,268 qualified while 47,974 of 64,795 pharmacy candidates qualified. The commissioner for entrance examinations (CEE) on Tuesday published the results on www.cee.kerala.gov.in. Only those who scored a minimum of 10 marks for each paper qualified. Those who did not attempt any one of the papers also got disqualified.

The results of 1772 students have been withheld owing to various reasons. They will be published once they furnished the required documents. An expert committee made corrections in the answer key before publishing results. Those who have qualified for the engineering will have to submit their mark list of Plus Two or equivalent examinations online to prepare the rank list. Arrangements will be made on the website after the CBSE results are out. The notice for the same would be published later.

The engineering rank list will be published in the third week of June after compilation of the marks. Pharmacy rank list would be prepared based on the index mark along with the engineering rank list. For the preparation of the rank list, equal weightage of 50:50 will be given to given to the marks obtained in the entrance exam for engineering - Paper I and Paper II put together - and the grade or marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Computer.

Category/community-wise list based on the rank list will also be published in due course. After the publication of rank list, candidates whose name is on it will be eligible for KEAM 2018 counselling. The CEE will conduct a centralised allotment process through a single window system through which candidates are allotted seats based on the rank obtained in KEAM 2018, preferences submitted and availability of seats.
