RSS deploys five leaders to manage Pragya Thakur’s campaign

Bhopal: Days after BJP’s nominee for the Bhopal Lok Sabha seat Pragya Singh Thakur, whose candidature has helped the saffron outfit bring into focus its Hindutva plank in the ongoing elections in the country, triggered outrage with controversial commen-ts, the party leadership changed her campaign advisors, believed to be at the behest of the RSS.

A senior BJP leader disclosed that a VHP team which was earlier managing her campaign has been replaced by a five-member campaign management team comprising three RSS men and two BJP leaders. The two BJP leaders in the team are sitting MP Alok Sanjar and ex-minister Uma Shankar Gupta.
