Kozhikode: Park handed over to dermatology hospital

In the compound, there are a mosque and a temple for the disabled people who cannot go outside.

Kozhikode: Inmates of Government Hospital of Dermatology at Chevayur now have a beautifully adorned space to spend their evenings and showcase their talents.

A charity, Arm of Joy, has built a park named Anandavam and handed over to them on Monday in memory of Pokkasrakath Abdulla who passed away last month.

In the compound, there are a mosque and a temple for the disabled people who cannot go outside. It took only a month to construct the park spending Rs 1.5 lakh. It provides several benches for the patients to spend time together and an open stage where they can stage entertainment programmes.Sareena, Abdulla's widow, dedicated Anandavanam to the hospital while their children planted trees.
