Telangana minister Pocharam Srinivas falls ill soon after Tirumala temple visit
Hyderabad: Telangana state’s minister for agriculture, Pocharam Srinivas, was rushed to a hospital in Tirumala after he fell ill soon after the darshan on Wednesday.
Mr Srinivas was part of the Telangana state Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s group that had arrived at the temple for prayers. He was taken to a hospital after he complaining of discomfort soon after coming out of the sanctum sanctorum.
Staff of a clinic run by Apollo Hospitals, which is attached to the TTD-run Aswani Hospital examined the minister and declared there was nothing seriously troubling his health.
His BP level and other parameters were examined by doctors of Apollo from the hospital's Chennai branch through a video link.
The doctors said the mild scare was due to a drop in blood pressure levels and later, discharged the minister.
