Thiruvananthapuram: The health squad under the City Corporation on Tuesday carried out extensive inspections at eateries in the Nanda-ncode Health Circle and sealed a hotel for not maintaining hygiene. The squad sealed Arya Jyothi restaurant near Pattom LIC, which was functioning under unhygienic condition. Corpo-ration secretary L.S. According to officials, several of the customers who were having food at the restaurant complained about the low-quality food being served at the hotel. The official said that the condition of the kitchen was pathetic and the hotel employees were living under deplorable condition. “None of the workers had the health-card or had undergone medical check-up which is mandatory,” the release said.
