Hyderabad: No placement cell forces man to protest
Hyderabad: A 2017-18 batch public policy graduate, from a renowned business school staged a protest at Dharna Chowk on Tuesday, demanding a policy level change to provide campus interview opportunities in all private institutions.
Mr Naveen Kumar, the student, mentioned that “The true test for the quality of education in any institution is only through placements. We are not asking for a job, but we should at least be given a chance where students can prove themselves. When I went in search of jobs, companies questioned me asking why I could not get placed through campus placements. But there were no campus placements in our institution, this year.”
There is a placement cell is even in government institutions, however, private institutions are not mandating the placement process.
