Hyderabad: Centenary Celebrations of J. Eashwari Bai, former president of Republican Party of India will be observed on Wednesday at Ravindra Bharathi. Daughter of Eashwari Bai, who is also former minister Dr J. Geetha Reddy is holding the celebrations.
Eashwari Bai Memorial Centenary award will be presented to Revolutionary poet and Balladeer Mr Gaddar. Eashwari Bai social activist and had founded Civic Rights Committee organization in 1960’s to fight Hyderabad Municipal elections. She has served people in various activities being Municipal Corporator for Seven year and as a member of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly for a period of eleven years.
Leader of Congress party in Lok Sabha Mr Mallikarjun Kharge will attend the centenary celebrations as the ghief guest. There will be screening of a documentary on Eashwari Bai followed by releasing of Book “Agnishika Eashwari Bai”.
