Bengaluru: A 37-year-old labourer died after a speeding truck rammed into another truck on Bannerghatta Road on Sunday night. Another person was injured in the accident.
The deceased has been identified as Shivanna. Shivanna and Nagaraj were heading towards Bannerghatta with a truckload of furniture. When the truck reached near T. John College, it broke down.
The truck driver asked Shivanna and Nagaraj to push the vehicle. While they were doing so, another truck, being driven in a rashly, rammed into the truck from behind, killing Shivanna. Nagaraj who sustained injuries was rushed to a nearby hospital. His condition is said to be critical. The Hulimavu police are investigating.
