Visakhapatnam: The owner of the famous Gadiraju Palace, G.R.K. Raju, denied that YSRC leadership put pressure on him to sell the property.
Addressing a press conference in the palace premises in Visakhapatnam on Friday, Raju said it was not true that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s family members wanted his property, as alleged by former minister and TD leader Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu.
“I never met Ayyanna Patrudu or spoke to him. Even the district collector also did not call me,” Raju said. Ayyanna Patrudu said the incident took place three months ago, but at that time, he was in the hospital, Raju clarified.
He said it was also not true that the collector issued a notice under Section 22A of the Registration Act for refusing to sell the property.
