Hyderabad: Chaitanyapuri police arrested eight persons including a man working as a driver for Amazon for pushing a minor into prostitution. The accused Y. Chanti, lured his wife’s cousin and abducted her. He then sexually exploited her and pushed her into flesh trade.
Yarlagadda Chintu, 25, his wife Pushpa, 20, Farida Begum, 36, K. Krishnaveni, 28, P. Padma, 25, D. Manjula, 36, and G. Radha, 50, have been arrested.
The accused have been arrested under Sections 376 (2) (i) (n), 114, 366 (A), 370 (A) and 120 (b) of IPC, Section 5 (1) r/w 6 of PoCSO Act and Section 5 (1) (a) of Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, said the DCP Sunpreeth.
