BENGALURU: A man died on spot and two were injured in an accident involving two bikes on the City Market flyover on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Satish Pandit, 48, a resident of Hosakerehalli. His daughter, Swati S Pandit has been admitted to the hospital and is said to be out of danger. According to the police, around 9:15 am, while Satish was going to drop his daughter to college on a two-wheeler, another two-wheeler hit his vehicle from behind. All three of them fell on the ground. While Satish sustained serious injuries and died on the spot, Swati and the other bike rider, Govind Diwakar, were rushed to the hospital.
The City Market traffic police have registered a case and sent the body to Victoria hospital for postmortem.
