Hyderabad: The government on Wednesday allotted Rajiv Swagruha flats in the city for cheaper rates to government employees. Finished and semi-finished 3BHK and 2BHK flats in Bandlaguda and Pochampally will be allotted on first-come-first serve basis.
After a series of efforts to sell them, the government has reduced the price to Rs 1,900 and Rs 1,700 per sq. ft for finished flats in Bandlaguda and Pocharam and Rs 1,700 and Rs 1,500 for unfinished flats. The government had not reduced the price when the general public offered to buy the flats. The Bandlaguda project has 316 finished and 1929 semi-finished flats. At Pocharam, there are 969 finished and 505 semi-finished flats. The government has promised to ensure home loans from banks for employees.
