Hyderabad: Mala Mahanadu leaders met Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Wednesday and extended their support to the Mahakutami.
Mala Mahanadu president Veluthuru Malliah and other leaders told Mr Uttam Kumar Reddy that they would work for the victory of the Mahaku-tami candidates in all the constituencies.
Mr Mallaiah told mediapersons, “We discussed the situation in the state. We are ready to give support to the Congress and the Mahakutami candidates. The attacks on Dalits and women incr-eased under the Chand-rasekhar Rao government. SC and ST funds were diverted for other purposes. The CM tried to suppress the SC and ST communities and so we are extending our support to the Mahakutami.”
The Madiga Reserva-tion Porata Samithi (MRPS) is preparing for another meeting with the TPCC president. MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga said, “When we met the TPCC chief the last time, we discussed some issues and a few are still pending. Our delegation will meet Mr Uttam Kumar Reddy on Wednesday night or Thursday. After the meeting, we will announce our plan.”
