No need to fret about traffic congestion: Cops
Hyderabad: A post cautioning residents of the city to brace themselves for massive traffic congestions and diversions in the upcoming week owing to VVIP movement on account of the inauguration of the Hyderabad Metro Rail and the Global Entrep-reneurship Summit has gone viral on social media.
The traffic police have responded by asking people not to panic as security agencies have been requested to use routes that will cause minimum inconvenience to the public.
A.V. Ranganath, DCP (Traffic) of Hyderabad, says, “From November 28 to November 29, the-re will be VVIP movement in the ORR-Gachibowli-Miyapur-Madhapur corridor. Traf-fic is likely to be normal in other areas.”
A.R. Srinivas, DCP (Traffic) of Cyberabad, says that a plan is in place and a traffic advisory will be released soon. “People are advised restrict their movements on these days,” he says.
