Vijayawada: “Photographs chronicle the history, as they are the moments those were gone forever, impossible to reproduce”, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has opined on the eve of launching the book of Diviseema Cyclone “uppena” on Tuesday at Chief Minister’s Office.
The book has written by T. Srinivasareddy. The Chief Minister went through the pages of the pictorial book — The Tidal Wave 1977: a recollection of the memories of the disastrous Diviseema cyclone hit the Krishna-Guntur coast —and appreciated the efforts of Andhra Pradesh Photography Akademi for publishing the book that recorded the devastation of ghastly Diviseema ‘uppena’. Deputy Speaker Mr. Mandali Budha Prasad, Konakalla Narayana Rao, MP and Dr Parakala Prabhakar, advisor, communications have participated in the programme.
