Wants words anti-social elements redefined

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday said the khaki uniform worn by policemen is synonymous with sacrifice.

“The police uniform stands for sacrifice and the three-lion symbol stands for the sovereignty of the country,” he underlined.

Referring to recent violent incidents at Angallu and Punganuru, he accused certain groups of disturbing peace in society. “They are anti-social and police need to deal with them sternly,” he underlined.

The Chief Minister pointed out that even courts of law and judicial officers are being heckled and trolled on social media and in TV debates for not getting judgements in their favour. He said such elements are also anti-social.
