Hyderabad High Court issues notice on exhibition society's dues
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court has issued notices to TS home secretary Rajiv Trivedi and Director General of Fire Services Rajiv Ratan and two others in a contempt of court case seeking to explain the reasons for not recovering dues from the Hyderabad Exhibition Society despite a court order.
A division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice Shameem Akhter was dealing with a contempt case by advocate Khaja Aijazuddin seeking to punish the two officers along with Society secretary Aditya Margam and Hyderabad district fire officer M. Srinivasa Reddy.
The petitioner said that the officers took a lenient view of the court order on dues that are to be paid to the fire service department as the society’s president is a Cabinet minister.
