THANJAVUR: People of Thanjavur district can send petitions related to public issues or individual issues for salvation to Petitions committee of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly before October 18 according to a press release issued here by A. Annadurai on Saturday.
The petitions committee is going to visit the district soon. People or associations or any organisation can send petitions related to public issues or individual issues in their areas to the committee for getting solution. The committee will examine the petitions and call for actions from district administration.
Petitions can be sent with name of the petitioner, date and place to Petitions committee, Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, Chennai, 600009 before October 18. Petitions sent after this date will not be taken for consideration.
Petitions should not relate to personal grievances, asking for employment, old age pension, patta, transfers, bank loans etc.
