Verify facts before publishing news, says Dinesh Gundurao
Bengaluru: Claiming that the media was publishing ‘false news’ on Congress legislators set to quit the party, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President Dinesh Gundurao reminded the media of its duty to verify facts before publishing such news. Talking to reporters here, he claimed that the four legislators from Ballari who the media claimed, had gone missing, were very much with him in Delhi at that time.
The BJP was making use of the media to destabilise the coalition, he asserted. Mr Gundurao also defended Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy's remark that he could give a call to people to revolt against the BJP saying the CM might have said this in an emotional state without meaning it.
