Hyderabad: On the occasion of Muharram on Friday, the Old City and its surrounding areas witnessed slow movement of traffic, which started at around 7 pm. In areas of Afzalgunj, Central Library, SJ Bridge Junction, CBS, Rangmahal, Sai Baba Temple till Chaderghat Junction, there was heavy traffic due to the Muharram procession.

There was traffic jams in the cantonment areas of Bowenpally Saibabanagar to New Bowenpally junction.
