Telangana: Traffic curbs in place for visarjan

All side roads leading to the main procession route will be barricaded.

Hyderabad: In order to maintain smooth flow of traffic and ensure public safety during the Ganesh immersion procession on Sunday, Hyderabad police commissioner Anjani Kumar has ordered the following regulations. No traffic other than those carrying idols will be allowed on the main procession route between 9 am on Sunday and 8 am on Monday. Traffic restrictions will be extended if the situation demands. All side roads leading to the main procession route will be barricaded.

Important Routes
The main procession starts at Keshavagiri and passes through Aliabad, Nagulchinta, Charminar, Madina, Afzalgunj, MJ Market, Abids, Basheerbagh, Liberty, Ambedkar statue towards Tank Bund or NTR Marg.
Secunderabad: RP Road, MG Road, Karbala Maidan, Kavadiguda, Musheerabad crossroad, RTC crossroad, Narayanaguda crossroad, Himayatnagar Y junction to join main procession at Liberty. Idols from Chilkalguda crossroads join at Musheerabad crossroads.
East zone: Uppal, Ramanthapur, 6 No. Junction, Amberpet, Shivam Road, NCC OU office, Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital, Hindi Mahavidyalaya crossroads, Fever Hospital, Barkatpura crossroads, Narayanguda crossroads, join procession coming from RTC crossroads. Idols from Dilsukhnagar join the procession from IS Sadan, Saidabad, Chanchalguda at Nalgonda crossroads. Big idol will proceeds towards Amberpet via Moosarambagh. Idols from Tarnaka side will proceed on Osmania University Distance Education Road, Adik and join procession at Fever Hospital via Vidyanagar.
Tolichowki, Rethibowli, Mehdipatnam: Processions will pass through Masab Tank, Ayodhya Junction, Nirankari Bhavan, Old PS Saifabad, Iqbal Minar to NTR Marg. Idols from Erragadda pass through SR Nagar, Ameerpet, Panjagutta, VV statue and join procession from Mehdipatnam at Nirankari Bhavan and proceed to NTR Marg. Idols from Tappachabutra and Asifnagar side to pass through Sitarambagh, Boiguda Kaman, Volga Hotel, Goshamahal Baradari and join main procession at MJ Market and proceeds towards Abids, Basheerbagh, Liberty, Ambedkar statue, Tank Bund or NTR Marg.
Basheerbagh crossing: The facility to cross between the west and east sides of the city has been made only at Basheerbagh junction. The police advised commuters to use the Ring Road and Begumpet route to avoid diversions.

West: Tope Khana Mosque, Alaska Hotel Junction, Osmangunj, Shankerb-agh, Seena Hotel, Ajanta Gate near Exhibition Ground, Abkari Lane, Taj Island, Barthan Bazaar, AR Petrol Pump at KLK Building.
Central: Chapel Road entry, Gadwal Centre at GPO, Shalimar theatre, Gunfoundry, Skyline Road entry, Bharat Scouts & Guides Junction Domalguda, Kalanjali at Control Room, Liberty junction, GHMC office Y junction, BRK Bhavan junction, Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharati, Dwarka Hotel junction, Khairatabad junction, Children’s Park, Mariott Hotel junction, Kavadiguda junction, Musheeerabad crossroad, RTC crossroad, Katta Maisamma temple on Lower Tank Bund, Indira Park Junction.
North (Secunderabad): Traffic will not be allowed to enter the Necklace Road and Tank Bund from Karbala Maidan, Buddha Bhavan, Sailing Club and Nallagutta Junction. Traffic will be diverted from 6 am till completion of immersion at CTO, YMCA, Paradise crossroads, Patny crossroads, Bata crossroads, Adavaiah crossroads, Ghansmandi crossroads.

Parking places
Institute of Engineers and MMTS station, Anandnagar Colony to RR district ZP office; rear side of Buddha Bhavan; Goseva Sadan, Lower Tank Bund, Katta Maisamma temple, NTR stadium, Nizam College, Public Gardens.

After immersion
NTR Marg: Empty trucks/lorries should proceed via Necklace Rotary, Khairatabad flyover, VV Statue, KCP.
Tank Bund: Empty trucks/lorries should proceed towards Children’s Park, DBR Mills, Kavadiguda, Musheerabad or Indira Park, Ashoknagar, Vidyanagar. They will not be allowed towards Bible House.

LORRy Curbs: Inter state and inter-district lorries are not allowed to enter the city on the intervening night of 23/24-09-2018. Their movement will be terminated on the outskirts of the city during the final day of immersion.

RTC buses
City services: When the procession reaches its peak, RTC buses will not be allowed beyond: Masab Tank (Mehdipatnam buses), VV Statue (Kukatpally buses), CTO, Plaza, SBH, Clock Tower, Chilkalguda crossroad (Secunderabad buses), Ramanthapur TV Station (Uppal buses), Gaddiannaram, Chaderghat (Dilsukhnagar buses), Danamma Huts (Rajendranagar), IS Sadan (Ibrahimpatnam and Midhani buses), YMCA Narayanguda (inter-city buses), Tarnaka.

buses to Imlibun
From Rajiv Rahadari, NH-7: JBS, YMCA, Sangeet crossroad, Tarnaka, Jamia Osmania flyover, Nimboliadda, Chaderghat.
From Bengaluru: Aramgarh crossroad, Chandrayangutta crossroad, IS Sadan, Nalgonda crossroad, Chaderghat.
From Mumbai/NH 9: Godrej Y Junction, Narsapur crossroads, Bowenpally, JBS, YMCA, Sangeet, Tarnaka, Jamia Osmania flyover, Adikmet, Nimboliadda.
Inter-state and district buses will not be permitted from 10 am on Sunday to 6 am on Monday. Private buses should operate from their locations outside the city and not enter the city from 10 am on Sunday to 10 am on Monday.
Airport/stations Passengers from or to the Shamshabad airport, railway stations and bus stands should avoid Necklace Road, NTR Marg, Tank Bund and the main Ganesh procession route.
