BJP selective in picking names

Former TRS MP Ramesh Rathod from Adilabad had sent feelers to the BJP but did not receive a positive response.

Hyderabad: Feeding on positive vibes from BJP president Amit Shah’s campaign starter, a line of aspirants has formed outside the party’s offices but the BJP appears to be picky.

Among those who did not get an easy entry was Judge Ravinder Reddy, who took voluntary retirement with a view to meeting his political aspirations. Mr Reddy said he was ready to join the party last week but it did not materialise. He was again called on Thursday to the BJP office but the induction did not take place.

Former TRS MP Ramesh Rathod from Adilabad had sent feelers to the BJP but did not receive a positive response. With the BJP not welcoming, Mr Rathod chose to join the Congress.
