KOZHIKODE: BJP national president Amit Shah will reach Kozhikode on Thursday. A grand reception will be accorded to the BJP chief at Calicut Intern-ational Airport, Karipur on Thursday at 11 am when he arrives here for the party’s National Council Meet. According to party state general secretary, K. Surendran, workers of Kozhikode, Malappuram districts would participate.
Mr Shah will set off to Kozhikode after addressing the workers there. He will be in Kozhikode for five days. He had called a meeting of the national general secretaries on Tuesday in New Delhi to evaluate the preparations of the national council meeting. Scores of vehicles would accompany him to Kozhikode, said Mr Surendran. The delegates from across the country would receive a rousing reception at the three International Airports besides railway stations at Kozhikode, Coimbatore, Palakkad and Shornur.
