Hyderabad: A four-year-old girl succumbed to dengue on Wednesday morning at a private hospital in the city. The child was from Uperpally and was admitted to the hospital for high fever.
Complications led to multi-organ failure, resulting in the death of the child. It is the tenth death due to dengue in the state this season.
As many as 150 cases of dengue had been reported from 36 private hospitals in August, taking the total number of cases since June 2016 till August to 836.
